Why we call it TAJI

Taji is the Kiswahili word for crown. It is a small word that carries a great deal: Christ the King, Mary crowned Queen of Heaven, and the quiet dignity of being a child of God.

TAJI began in Busia with a simple desire — to create and gather beautiful things that help Catholics carry their faith into ordinary days. We design some pieces ourselves and work with trusted suppliers for others. What stays constant is the care in the choosing.
